This policy explains what ampacity.ai collects when you use the Service, who we share it with to run the Service, and how you can access, export, or delete it.
Account information: your name and email address, handled by our sign-in provider, and billing details, handled by our payment processor -- we do not store your card number ourselves.
Content you give the Service: photographs of panel schedules and other equipment you upload, and the schedule, circuit, and load data you or the Service enters from them.
Usage and device information: pages you visit on this site, and, for anyone who does not opt out, anonymous visit and click statistics from our analytics provider.
When you sign up, we record the marketing campaign, source, medium, and referral information present in the link you followed to reach us -- for example UTM parameters and ad-click identifiers from Google, LinkedIn, or Microsoft -- along with the page on this site you landed on. We store this on your account record so we can tell which campaigns and pages produce accounts.
We do not set a cookie or use browser storage to build this record. It reflects only the visit that led to your sign-up; a browsing session before that is not linked to your account.
We share data with the following processors, only as needed to run the Service:
To provide the Service: turning your uploads into a calculated record, keeping it current as you edit it, and letting you and anyone you share a panel with view it.
To run our business: billing, support, security, and understanding which pages and campaigns bring people to sign up.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use the content of your panel schedules to train a model for anyone other than to answer your own requests.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for backups, fraud prevention, and legal recordkeeping.
Email support@ampacity.ai to request a copy of your data or to have your account and its data deleted. We will confirm what we deleted and what we are required to keep, and we aim to complete a request within 30 days.
We rely on our processors' security controls and our own access practices to protect your data, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy as the Service or our processors change. We will post the updated policy here with a new "last updated" date.
